Steven Kurcik Obituary
Steven Kurcik, age 60, of Trappe passed away suddenly on October 24, 2025.
Formerly of Bridgeport, Steven was born May 23, 1965. He was the son of the late George R. Kurcik, and M. Catharine Maddonni (Anthony). He was predeceased by brothers George, James, William, and Mark Salvati.
Steven graduated from Norristown Area High School, class of 1983. He started his electrical career as an apprentice under the training and guidance of Alberto Alfonsi of Alfonsi Electric. Steven then went on to master his craft as a self-employed electrician until his death.
Steven enjoyed spending time with family, his many friends and his church family. Besides hosting family reunions, he loved listening to local bands, singing karaoke, building and restoring cars and spending time at the beach. He was a lifelong supporter of our Philadelphia Flyers, Phillies, and Eagles (go birds).
On any given weekend you could find him at car shows winning awards with his '32 Ford Roadster and his newly finished 1965 AC Cobra.
Steven was a lifelong member of Chapter and Verse Fellowship where he was dedicated to Bible study under the guidance of the Rev. Nick Catania. Nick and his wife Kim had a tremendous spiritual and personal impact on his life. He also served as a past elected official on the Trappe borough counsel.
Steven is survived by his five sisters, M. Catharine Camper (James), Linda Slawinski (Michael), Brenda Salvati (the late Mark), Anna Alfonsi (Alberto), Rosemarie Kurcik, as well as numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and his loyal cat, Autumn.
Family and friends are warmly invited to attend a Celebration of Life on December 13th 10am at the Charity Lodge 190, 465 Burnside Ave, Norristown 19403.
