Sue Cinaglia Obituary

Sue M. Cinaglia, 97, of Norristown passed away peacefully on Saturday evening August 17, 2024 at her home with her family by her side.
She was the beloved wife of Orlando Cinaglia, with whom she shared 61 years of marriage before he preceded her in death in 2008.

Born on August 3, 1927 she was the daughter of the late Maria (Allegro) Santangelo and Charles Santangelo.
She was predeceased by her Husband Orlando, son Raymond and daughter Lorraine, eight siblings.
Matthew, Alfonso, Anthony, Michael and John. Sisters, Catherine and Jennie.

Sue graduated from Eisenhower high school. She married Orlando in 1947 and began her long life, filled with love, family, and joy. For many years Sue served as the cafeteria supervisor at NAHS where she touched the lives of countless students and colleagues with her warmth and kindness.
After retirement, she worked with her daughter and son-in-law at their family run 7-Eleven in West Norriton.

Sue's dedication to her work and her nurturing spirit made her a beloved figure in the community.
Sue's greatest joy in life was her family.
She lovingly raised her children and grandchildren, instilling in them her value of love, kindness, and hard work. Her home was always a place of comfort and joy where she welcomed everyone with open arms and warm heart.

Sue began many family and holiday traditions for her family and many others, from her family meals, homemade pastas and sauce, and her famous fried stuffed olives.

Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and loved ones, she leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and an unwavering devotion to her family.

She was also an avid Philly sports fan but her heart was always with the Flyers!

Sue is Survived by her beloved daughter Kathy (Jake) Jacobson, her son-in-law Jim (Lorraine) Prendergrast,
her 9 cherished grandchildren, Sheri (John) Zawislak, Lorri (Ronnie) Pitts, Jimmy Prendergast, Terri Caramenico, Michael (Jenna) Prendergast, Stephen Caramenico, Angela, Caramenico, Alicia Caramenico, And Brian (Diane) Prendergast.
She leaves behind 20 great grandchildren, who know her as GG, and one great, great grandchild where she became

Triple G. Along with a large extended family filled with nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Sue's viewing will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024 from 9:00 to 9:50 AM followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 AM in Holy Saviour church 407 E. Main St., Norristown. 

Burial will follow in St Patrick cemetery. 

Family request Memorial contributions can be made in Sue's memory to the Flyers Wives Fight for Lives.
