Susan Valerie Capone

Susan Valerie (Kutz) Capone, 76, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday October 29, 2020.  Susan was born in Norristown on January 11, 1944.  She was the daughter of the late Walter and Sara (Robbins) Kutz.  She was the beloved wife of Andrew Capone for 56 years.  She was a devoted mother to her two sons Andrew Gennaro (Angela) Capone and Matthew Stephen (Bernadette) Capone, and her three daughters Donna Marie Masci and Gena Lynn Capone, MaryAnn (deceased).  She was a dear sister to Walter "Buddy" (Nancy) Kutz and the late Sally "Chic" Shaw.  She was the adoring Mom-Mom to her especially loved four grandchildren, Gennaro, Tyler, Evan and Morgan.
A graduate of Norristown Area High School, she was a dental hygienist before getting married.  But her most important and cherished endeavor was being a homemaker for over 50 years.  She was selfless in her devotion to her husband, children and grandchildren.  To all she extended love, warmth and kindness.  She never had a bad word for anyone and always had a smile.  Susan resided in Plymouth Meeting, was a member of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church and Plymouth Country Club.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday November 4th from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.  Her funeral mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. in St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church at 2007 New Hope Street, Norristown.  Burial will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Norristown.
