Theresa A (Carbo) Templeton, known to her grandchildren as “TT”, passed away peacefully on July 9th, 2022, with her family by her side.
Theresa was a member of St. Eleanor’s Catholic Church in Collegeville, PA where she was a member of the choir and taught religious education along with being an active member of various church events.
Theresa was an avid animal lover, enjoyed music, dancing as well as reading and traveling. Theresa and her late husband together traveled the world. They particularly enjoyed Australia, Italy, Paris, and Switzerland.
Theresa owned and operated Collegeville Day Care School with her deceased spouse, David Templeton, for over 20 years. She graduated from West Chester University with both her bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in administration.
Theresa was preceded in death by her loving spouse, David Templeton, who passed away on October 25th, 2012. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on October 16th, 2012.
She cherished her three grandchildren, Tessa, Anthony, and Nicco along with her four great grandchildren Olive, Roman, Jude and August who all supported her since David passed.
Surviving is her son, David Templeton Jr. of Jersey City, NJ,and her daughter Terry Carfagno (husband Tony) of Collegeville. Also surviving is her sister Susan Techman(husband John) of Boyertown, PA and brother Thomas Carbo of Pottstown, PA and several nieces and nephews who will miss her.
Friends and family are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 11AM (viewing will be held from 10:00AM - 10:45AM) on Thursday, July 14th, 2022, at St. Eleanor Church located at 647 Locust St, Collegeville, PA 19426.
A private entombment ceremony will take place at St. Patrick’s Mausoleum in East Norriton, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Montgomery County SPCA, 1059 Sweisford Road, Perkiomenville, PA 18074.
