William David O’Donnel

William David O’Donnel Sr., 66, of Worcester, Pennsylvania, passed away Wednesday May 17, 2023 in his home surrounded by family. 

William was born January 2, 1957 to Barbara Levering and William Nelson O’Donnel. After graduating from Roxborough High School he joined the Marines and then Coast Guard. 

After being honorably discharged, William began a career in scuba diving. He found peace and joy around water, sharing his passion with his sons. 

In 1994, William had is first child, David. 2 years later he welcomed a second son, Justin, into the world. William had many titles: dad, brother, friend, father-in-law. And his newest being Grandpop to his granddaughter, Sophia. 

He was preceded in death by his mom, Barbara, his dad, William, his sister, Donna Hontz and many beloved pets. 

He is survived by his children David O’Donnel (Francesca O’Donnel), Justin O’Donnel (Sarah Granneman), granddaughter, Sophia, brother, Mark O’Donnel and girlfriend Kathy Trankle. 

Family will be having a private memorial for William.
