Barbara A. Hendricks

Barbara A. (Himes) Hendricks  passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016 at her home. She was 71. 
Mrs. Hendricks of Norristown retired in 1995 from the Boro of Norristown and Police Department. Barbara was a life member of the Hancock Fire Co.. She was President and a life member of the Hancock Ladies Auxiliary, a right she fought long and hard for. She was previously a Den leader and Coach for Boy Scout troop 600. 
She was the Daughter of the late Mary E. (Himes) Moore and the sister of the late John W. Moore Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years Kenneth C. Hendricks Sr. Two sons Kenneth C. Hendricks Jr.  (and the late Samantha Fishman) and Christopher (Erika) Hendricks. Her Sister-in-law Harriet Murray. Five grandchildren and many cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday evening January 29 from 6 to 8 PM at the Volpe funeral home 707 W. Germantown Pike at Whitehall Rd., East Norriton. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Hancock Fire Co. 820 W. Airy St., Norristown or Einstein Montgomery Hospice 1330 Powell St., Norristown PA 19401.
Funeral arrangements are by the Volpe funeral home.
