Ronald John Vierling

VIERLING, RONALD JOHN, age 83, husband of Rita (DeAndrea) Vierling of East Norriton, PA, passed into eternal life on September 17 at the Sacred Heart Home in Philadelphia, PA.

Born in Philadelphia on August 16, 1933, Ron was the youngest of seven children born to Harold and Ann (Mallon) Vierling.  He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and four sisters.  Ron attended St. Hugh Parochial School and Northeast Catholic High School.  He served in Europe as a member of the Armed Forces and was a proud member of the American Legion.  Ron worked for the Philco-Ford Corporation, retiring in 1993.  His post-retirement years were dedicated to the care of his special needs son, Robert.  Ron was a member of Visitation B.V.M. Parish in Trooper, PA.  In addition to his wife of 58 years, Ron is survived by his son Fr. Ronald M. Vierling, MFC (New Milford, CT), Robert Vierling (East Norriton, PA), and Angela Burke (Harleysville, PA); three grandchildren:  Ryan Vierling (Harleysville, PA), Carly and Samantha Burke (Harleysville, PA).
