Sara F. (Marchese) Watt

Sara F. Watt (Marchese) of East Norriton passed away peacefully on Monday, August 24, 2015 at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery surrounded by her loving family.  She was 85. 

Born on March 20, 1930 in Norristown, Ms. Watt was the daughter of the late Michael and Josephine (Calamia) Marchese.  

She was a graduate of Norristown Area High School class of 1948 and a member of St. Titus Parish in East Norriton, PA.

Before her retirement in 1999, Sara was a retired accounts receivable clerk with Sperry Univac Corporation in Blue Bellwhere she worked for 30 years.  She also worked as a bookkeeper for Marchese Bros. in Plymouth, PA.  

A devoted mother, Sara loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She lived a simple but full life filled with love, laughter and was happiest when she was sitting around the kitchen table with her sisters.  

Sara leaves behind the three most important people in her life, her son James Watt of East Norriton, and her two daughters,Kathleen Watt Hammond of East Norriton and Kimberly (Jeff) Spence of King of Prussia.  Her six grandchildren, Robert Hammond III, Sophia and Olivia Hammond, Stephen and Gabrielle Watt and Tyler Spence, her brother-in-law James Petrucci of Norristown and many nieces and nephews. 

Along with her parents, Sara was preceded in death by four brothers, Joe, Harry, Steve and Benny Marchese and four sisters, Lena Marchese, Frances Lombardi, Mary Porretti and Josephine Petrucci.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass on Friday, August 28, 2015 at 11 AM in Saint Titus Church, East Norriton. Friends may call from 10 to 11 AM at the church. Burial St. Patrick's Cemetery.
