Phyllis (Castellano) Staffano

Phyllis (Castellano) Staffano passed away on Friday, October 2, 2015 she was 82. Mrs. Staffano of Jeffersonville was a member of Visitation Church and the lady Solidaty. She was a member of the Jeffersonville fire company ladies auxiliary where she formally served as the secretary  and the Trooper Senior Citizens. Phyllis enjoyed cooking, baking and reading. She was born in Phila.  on November 6, 1932 was the daughter of the late and Ermino and Margaret (Gallo) Castellano.
She is survived by her husband Nick Staffano. Her daughter Margie (John) Berstrasser. four grandchildren amy tim and john jenelle. Four great-grandchildren Trey, Chris, JoJo and Jaclyn.
Predeceased by her daughter Christine Gassen and a sister Christine Elmer.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass on Thursday, October 8 at 10 am at the Visitation BVM lower church. Burial will be private. Friend may call Thursday morning from 9 to 10 AM at the lower church. In lieu of flowers family request memorial contributions can be made to the Jefferson firehouse new truck fund.
Funeral arrangements are by the Volpe funeral home.
